Delete your Synaply account

When your deletion request is processed, the following data tied to your account is permanently removed from our systems:

• Your profile (name, email, avatar, bio, role)
• Your authentication credentials and sessions
• Your private notes, drafts, and saved memories
• Your direct messages and conversation history with Stacey
• Personal preferences, integrations, and connected-account tokens
• Push notification subscriptions and device records

Some data may remain in our systems for legal, compliance, or legitimate-business reasons:

• Insights, articles, and other content you contributed to your organization with workspace-wide visibility — these remain as organizational knowledge, with your name replaced by 'Former member' on display
• Audit logs required for SOC 2 Type 2 compliance and security investigations (retained for up to 24 months, then automatically purged)
• Aggregated, anonymized analytics that cannot be linked back to you
• Billing records required by tax and accounting regulations (retained per local law, typically 7 years)

If you want content you shared with your organization fully removed, tell us in your deletion request and we'll review with your workspace administrator on a case-by-case basis.

• In-app deletions are processed immediately. Backups are purged within 30 days.
• Email deletion requests are acknowledged within 48 hours and completed within 7 days of identity verification.
• You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete.
